Overview

I was nominated in charge of key visual design for a representational lecture, Concept 2017, for the graphic design department at California College of the Arts.
I began to define what the essence of Concept was; an annual lecture to introduce diverse design trends by diverse designers and working professionals for students of the graphic design department.

Keyword of concept 2017

The word for 2017 was “Curiosity," rooted on a feeling of “danger mixed with enjoyment and fun".

Audience

Core Value

The core values of Curiosity are based on story-telling of a cat killed by mysterious people (the lecturers) and the audience who search for the people who killed the cat.

Key Concept

Key Visual

A symbol of Curiosity, Concept 2017 is a crime scene of the dead cat, Cu, with clues, cut letters of curiosity, as part of the visual language.
